Zumba Workout

The specific zumba workout consists of a combination of interval and resistance training. Zumba uses fitness elements with Latin dance moves, and international rhythms to create a very powerful and entertaining physical activity. The beauty of any zumba workout is that it alternates slow and fast movements, allowing the muscles to work at different speeds. The outcome is relevant: there is less body fat, nicely shaped muscles and a higher resistance to effort.

You can practice a zumba workout at the gym as part of an organized class or in the privacy of your home. A class usually lasts between 45 and 60 minutes, and it is up to you whether you choose to train one or twice per week. Both beginners and experienced dancers find it easy to follow a zumba workout, because they just have to imitate the instructor’s moves. Such materials are not too expensive, they are promoted and sold by the official Zumba network and they introduce you to the practice of zumba step by step. You may actually feel a bit more comfortable when dancing at home because you’ll think there’s nobody watching.

In fact, there is nobody watching at the gym either, because everybody is so preoccupied to feel the music and dance well, that there’s no time to watch what the neighbor’s doing. All the eyes are set on the instructor and the personal reflection in the mirror. Have fun!
